Marshall Dean Harris

Marshall D. Harris, 64, of Evansville, IN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at his winter home in Bonita Springs, FL.
Marshall served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany for 16 months. He graduated from USI with a degree in computer science. Marshall worked for Alcan Aluminum for five years. He retired from Berry Plastics after over 20 years as IT Director. Marshall enjoyed fishing, boating, water skiing, vacationing in Florida, was an avid Patriots fan and especially loved being a “Pops” to Josiah and Dylan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray B. Harris.
Marshall is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan (Luttrell) Harris; daughter, Laura M. Willis (Cody); grandsons, Josiah and Dylan Willis; mother, Ruby C. Harris; sister, Charlotte E. St. Ledger (Mike); brother, Kenneth R. Harris; nephews, Nathan A. Moore (Barbara), Chris Ellington (Teresa) and Larry Ellington; sister-in-law, Linda Ellington (late, Mike L. Ellington); and parents-in-law, James E. and Edith Luttrell.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Dave Teruel, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Family and friends may visit Thursday 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
