Mary Jane Farris

Mary Jane Farris, 91, of Evansville, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was born on February 12, 1933 in Marion, Kentucky to Virgil and Emma (Swain) Stone. She grew up in Illinois and then lived in North Park for 70 years in the same home. Mary was a member of North Park Baptist for many years. She was an avid bowler. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Earl Farris; brothers, Thomas Stone and Gene Stone; and sister, Margaret Doublin. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Blake (John); son, Tom Farris; grandchildren, Cory Blake and Jamie Clark; great granddaughters, Piper and Paisley Clark; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Alexander North Chapel with Rev. Art Christmas officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
