

Mary Agnes (Vanover) Tosti, 85, of Evansville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 2, 2012, at Deaconess Hospital. Mary was born on August 27, 1925 in Owensboro, KY to Charles and Lorene Vanover.
Mary was a member of Howell Baptist Church and also attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with her husband, Richard.
She enjoyed running a ceramic shop with her mother and father, her annual trips to the beach with her daughters and daughter-in-law, gardening, bowling, and the casino. She loved Traveling around the country visiting her children.
Mary was met at the Gates of Heaven by her loved ones who preceded her in death her parents, Charles and Lorene Vanover; brother, Charles Leo “Buddy” Vanover; daughter, Gayle (Tosti) Phippen; grandchildren, Christina Butler, Tony Tosti Jr.,Tracy Gaston Jonathon, and Kelsey Tosti; and daughter-in-law, Vickie Tosti.
She is survived by her caring devoted husband of 68 years, Richard Tosti; nine children, Lynda Salamone (Ron), Rick Tosti (Rosanna), Francie Butler (Ken), Tony Tosti (Darlene), John Tosti (Kathleen), Stacy Patrick (Sam), Joe Tosti (Cathy), Kelly Bowlds (Michael), and Jimmy Tosti (Sherri); 36 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Dean Crow; two nephews, Ronald and Raymond Vanover; and three nieces, Debbie, Terri, and Janet.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mary/Mom/Grandma was so devoted to her husband and entire family; she never hesitated to go where she was needed. She will be so greatly missed.
