Obituary of Mary Jane White
Mary Jane White was born June 27, 1915 in Herndon, Kentucky to the late Lee A. Gee and Alice Gee. She departed this life on October 26, 2019. She professed a love of Christ at an early age. She was a member Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mother’s Board and sang in the Senior Choir. She was wed to the late Maryland White and they had one son, James William White, Sr. She loved God, her family and her church. She was loved by many. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son; her three brothers, James, Henry and Lloyd; two sisters, Opehelia and Carrie Bell and one daughter-in-law, Dolores. She leaves to cherish her memory seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, twenty-four great great grandchildren, three great great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Greater St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 465 S. Elliott Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Rev. Richard Pollard, Sr. Entombment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday, 9-11am at the church.
