She was a member of the Evansville Primitive Baptist Church. Maxine enjoyed selling Avon for thirty years and was an avid clabber player.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Melvin Buente; son Troy Buente; and brother, Jesse Cleveland.
Maxine is survived by her son, Travis Buente; niece Dee Ann Folz; great-nieces, Kadarah & Sheila; sister-in-law, Marla Cleveland; and close friend, Kris Van Winkle.
Services will be 6:30PM, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Alexander North Chapel with visitation from 4:00PM until 6:00PM Thursday at the funeral home.
