

She and her husband, Bill, were small business owners. Earlier in her life, she and Bill established the Burger Chef franchise in Evansville. In 1990 she retired from their restaurant, the Big Top Drive-In. Maxine was a member of St. Benedict Cathedral for over 60 years and was a devoted mother to her five sons.
Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Frank, and infant daughter, Mary Beth Frank.
She is survived by sons, Gary (Christine) of Cincinnati, OH, Dave (Joanie) of Evansville, Steve (Sandy) of Citrus Heights, CA, Rick of Owensboro, KY, and Mike (Shannon) of Evansville; grandchildren Lori Oppt, Alli Ball, Shelly Dunn, Carly Bradley, Mark, Brian, Nick, Logan, Madison, Ryan and Rachel Frank; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday, January 16, 2015, at St. Benedict Cathedral, 1320 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN, with the Very Rev. Godfrey Mullen, OSB, officiating, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, where a prayer service will be held 10:30 AM on Friday.
