
He graduated from Bosse High School and Lockyear Business College. He was a member of Little League Soccer, loved the violin and other musical instruments, especially the drums and was a very accomplished player. He loved his family dearly and fishing at Garvin Park. He was a devout Catholic and loved his church, St. Mary Catholic Church. He loved all people and enjoyed cheering them up whenever he could, even with his severe disability. He was a wonderful father, son and brother.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Gary Leon Hary; and son, Christopher Michael Hary.
He is survived by his mother, Beverly Hary Claybrooks; brother, Steven C. Hary; daughters, Jennifer and Brittany; and sons, Zachary, Joseph Michael, who was named after Fr. Joe at St. Benedict Cathedral, and Nicholas; grandchildren; several aunts, especially Aunt Anne Hary Yancy; and several cousins and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thank you to all the doctors, nurses and everyone who took care of Michael at St. Mary’s Hospital. They would also like to give a special thank you to Michael’s stepfather, Bobby Claybrooks, for his helping hand to the family during Michael’s illness.
Private services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to River Walk Communities, 401 SE 6th Street, Evansville, IN 47713. Michael lived at River Walk for the past four years and clearly loved the personnel and all the residents.
