

Michael Raymond Rapp, 80, passed away, Thursday, April 26, 2012, in Ocala, Florida. He was born in December, 1931, the tenth child of James Henry Rapp and Minnie Elizabeth (Leslie) Rapp in Evansville, Indiana.
Mike served in the U.S. army and was a Korean War veteran, having served in 1951-1953. Mike retired in 1987 after 32 years of service to the United States Postal Service in Indianapolis, Indiana. After retirement, Mike moved to Ocala, Florida where he enjoyed golfing and traveling. He was a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Daniel (1920), Frank (1924), Marcella (1990), James (1984), John (1995), Ralph (1969), Paul (1977) and Charles (2008).
Michael is survived by his sister, Mary A. Guetling (Ralph); daughter, Elizabeth J. McCoy; granddaughters, Kelsey H. McCoy and Jennifer J. McCoy (JT Dominick) and his son, David M. Rapp (Effie Williams) as well as many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Chapel services will be conducted at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Evansville, IN on Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 1:00PM.
