She was a 1942 graduate of Lockyear Business College and retired from the Department of Public Welfare in 1989 after 16 years of service. She enjoyed attending the Cummings family reunions.
Millie was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Ross, in 1989.
She is survived by her son, Chuck Ross and his wife, Pam, of Evansville; daughter, Debbie Newman and her husband, Glen, of Boonville; and grandchildren, Dustin Ross, Brian, Lindsay and Jason Chambliss.
Services will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 10, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. William Simmons with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
