Miriam attended college at Vincennes University and in Colorado. After graduation, she went on to teach 5th grade at Allendale Grade School in Allendale, IL until she married her husband Philip Seibert on August 23, 1959. She attended Centenary United Methodist Church for many years, where she was the choir director until she retired in December 2019. Miriam was the co-owner and operator of Seibert Tree Farm.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Philip Seibert in 2011.
Miriam is survived by her children, Stephen, Stanley and Suzanne; and grandchildren, Mia, Sadie and Sylvia.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2021, at Centenary United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Alexander North Chapel and Friday 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
