Nathan I. Williamson, 88, of Evansville, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011, at his home. He was born March 7, 1922, in Pulaski, TN.
He came to Evansville after WWII. In his younger years he was a farmer and then started his own Heating and A/C business and was a licensed Journeyman. He enjoyed gardening and being around his family.
Nathan was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Florence Williamson; brothers, Herbert, Tonnie and Richard Wayne Williamson; grandson, Julius Dee Williamson; and step-daughter, Cynthia Phillips.
He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Stroud of Orlando, FL, Bonnie and Gary Hand of Greenwood, IN, Evelyn Williamson of Evansville, IN, Pamela and Mike Renninger, Patti and Christopher Savage, all of Carmel, IN, and Melissa and Timothy Daugherty of Newburgh, IN; sons, Clifford and Norma Williamson of Evansville, IN, and Alfred and Irma Williamson of Boonville, IN; wife, Louise Williamson of Boonville, IN; stepdaughter, Melinda and Jim Bisch of Keller, TX; 13 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild due in August; three step-great-great-grandchildren; and stepsister, Ruby Wilson of Alabama.
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 4, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Everett Freels, with burial in Shiloh Cemetery in Reo, IN. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
