Novella L. Stilwell

Novella L. Stilwell, 92, of Evansville, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011, at Newburgh Healthcare. She was born to the late Clarence and Grace Cotton on September 15, 1918, in Evansville, IN. Novella retired from the Evansville Psychiatric Children’s Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Stilwell in 1993; brothers, Clarence and Jerrell Cotton; and sister, Delores Lowry. Novella is survived by her daughter, Beverly Tooley (Stan) of Battle Creek, MI; son, Leonard Stilwell (Margaret) of Newburgh, IN; five grandchildren, John “Cody,” Raegan , Matthew, Tiffany, and Stephanie; and seven great grandchildren. Services will be 12:00-Noon Monday, March 14, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be for family and relatives only from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
