She is preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Brown and brother, Harry Courtney.
Survived by son, Steven (Beth) Brown; grandchildren Kelli and Eric Brown; sister, Loretta Riddle and aunt, Juanita Heflin.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
