Priscilla (Daugherty) Nelson, 70, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at The Charlier Hospice Center at Deaconess VNA Plus. She was born July 17, 1945, in Owensboro, KY, to the late Willard Ray and Pat (Fulkerson) Daugherty.
She graduated from Owensboro High School in 1963 and from Ivy Tech with two different degrees. After retirement she enjoyed traveling and visiting with family and friends.
Priscilla was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Willard Nelson; brother, Donald Ray Daugherty; and step-son, Danny R. Nelson.
She is survived by her sisters, Joan (Joe) Wathen and Jennifer Beeler; step-children, Denise (James) Bratcher, Debby (David) Wright, and David (Maribel) Nelson; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 15, 2015, at First Southern Baptist Church, 25 South Cullen Avenue. Friends may visit Saturday from 9:30 AM until service time at the church.
