Regina “Jean” Louise Elizabeth (Patry) Martin, 86, of Evansville, IN passed away on October 13, 2022 peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born on January 15, 1936 in Evansville to the late Sylvester and Gertie (Melton) Patry.
Jean was a bowler, enjoyed playing volleyball, loved to travel with her husband & all the time spent with her “little buddy” Cody & her granddaughter Melissa as her caregivers. She retired from Good Samaritan Home where she took great pride in her work.
Jean was proceeded in death by her loving husband of over 60 years, Paul E. Martin; daughter, Becky; and great-granddaughter, Hannah.
She was loved & survived by many including her sister, Patricia Wilke; two children, Keith E. Martin (Cindy Zeller) & Cheryl Braden (Donald Braden); son-in-law, Morris Windell; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Alexander East Chapel with Pastor Chris Turpin officiating. Burial will follow at Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit on Tuesday from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
