

Rita graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 1984. On May 16, 2002, she married the love of her life, David Crowley.
Rita was devoted to her family and absolutely adored her grandchildren. She had an unshakable faith and cherished her Bible study group. Known for her adventurous spirit, often playfully referred to as "Scooby", Rita brought joy and laughter wherever she went. She was a trivia buff and could recite the lyrics to every TV sitcom theme song. A passionate sports fan, Rita was devoted to IU basketball and cheered faithfully for the Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Braves.
Rita is survived by her husband, David Crowley of Prescott, Arizona; her children, Aaron Crowley and Kali Fitzgerrel; and her beloved grandchildren: Noah, Emmalynn, Ruby, Karson, Billie, Kay, Shon, Eevee, and Ava. She is also survived by her siblings: Holly Beswick, David Beswick, Amy Beswick, and Brian Beswick, as well as Nila Hite, all of Evansville, Indiana; and Julie Hawkins of Clarksville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances (Weightman) Beswick and Roy Beswick; her brothers Joseph, Phillip, and Mark Beswick; and her infant grandson, Oliver Crowley.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Embrace Church, located at 6300 Washington Avenue. Reverend John Eaton will officiate the service.
