Robert M. Cuprisin

Robert Michael Cuprisin, 68, of Evansville, passed away Sunday October 6, 2019. He was born April 25, 1951 in Evansville to the late Michael and Ruth (Suttner) Cuprisin. He graduated from North High School and Indiana State University. Bob attended Centenary United Methodist Church and was a member of Eastside Kiwanis and IIAAA. He was the Athletic Director at North High School for 17 years and worked at Central High School for 20 years including 11 years as the Industrial Arts Department Head and 17 years as the Assistant Athletic Director. He began his career at Huntingburg Middle School and ended his career at Harrison High School. He celebrated 40 years in the education profession with his retirement in 2013. Bob enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, time with his grandchildren and attending their activities, and sporting events of any nature. He is survived by daughter, Abby Pohl (Jeff); son, Andy Cuprisin (Tara); grandchildren, Ty, Luke and Sam Pohl and Molly and Emme Cuprisin; fiancée, Diane Walker; sister, Pat Theiss (Terry); and mother of his children, Mary Cuprisin. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 11, 2019 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Pastors Danny Walker and Tim Powers, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3:00 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 10, 2019 and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
