I would give anything to be able to hear Junior sing a song again!  He was always the light at the party.

Jr. was part of our family since my sister went to work at a grocery store that Jr. worked at.  He fell in love with her at first sight.  He loved to play the guitar and sing and was really good at both.  He was a great father to his two daughters and loved all his grandchildren.  We all dearly miss him!

Had a wonderful time working with Bob at Stringtown School for years, He became a good friend, was always there to help out any way he could, He will be dearly missed, rest in peace friend. Prayers for the family.

I was so sorry to hear about Junior's passing.  He and Yolanda were one of my favorite couples, as well as an example of a great family for the rest of us!  I met them when Yolanda and my Mother were playing softball.  Somehow, their friendship grew and lasted for the rest of my parents' lives.  Considering how my Dad didn't have many friends outside of his job, I know that he enjoyed their relationship.  I know that Junior and Yolanda were both there to help my Mother through challenging times after my Dad passed.  Junior and my Mother shared woodworking tips when she incorporated it into her crafting.  They could both get excited about a new bandsaw!!!  Junior and Yolanda blessed my family when they became my son's (Mason) Godparents.  I know that he loved them as Family, as well as I know that they loved him, too.  I'm sure that both of my Parents will be waiting to greet Junior when he arrives!  Junior was definitely unforgetable!

Grandpa was the kindest person I know. It didn’t matter who you were he was going to be friends with you. He taught me to love, be kind, and how to be compassionate.  I will miss the days of watching Hee Haw, The Red Green Show, and listening to blues with you. I love you Grandpa, I know you’re up there picking guitar, dancing, and singing the blues with Jesus. 

I first met Robert Fuquay (Jr.) when our mom ordered groceries from a store that delivered.  When he walked in with our groceries he took one look at my sister and was in love.   He went back to the store and told everyone that he had just met the girl he was going to marry.  Jr. was a kind man, good husband, father, brother-in-law, uncle. He loved playing music and singing and dancing.  God received an angel!  He will be greatly missed.

Jr always had a smile. I loved sitting next to him at the gospel singings.  He could sing right along with them and you knew he sang from his heart. He was such a kind man. I know Yolanda and all his family will miss him but knowing he is now singing in heavens angel choir, you just have to smile. Much sympathy and love to his family.

My uncle was the most genuinely kindest man I know. I loved hearing him sing and play his guitar.  I learned many songs from him. My most favorite memories are watching him dance.  He and my Aunt Yolanda could tear up a dance floor! Their jitterbug was the best. He taught me to two step.  My legs don't move that fast. 
He really was the best. Heaven got a good one♡


I have known Jr. and his beautiful, strong wife, Yolanda, since high school. I was Yolanda’s sister’s  partner in crime. Yolanda was like the police-person that kept tabs on us so we stayed, in line.  That is. when she knew what we were up to.  When Jr. married Yolanda we hoped that he could keep her distracted. He did. Jr. was immediately likable. He was so kind and happy.. He always greeted me with a cheerful , “ Hi,” and a big smile. One could not, not  like him. Jr. appeared to treat others with the respect they deserved. I never got the privilege of hearing Jr. sing but i understand he could give a few singers a run for their money!  I feel honored to have known Jr. Fuquay.   May he rest in peace. 

My dad was an incredible person. He never met a stranger. Everyone knew Bob as a kind, caring, loving, and social person. He was the best Grandpa to my boys. They loved him dearly. I will miss my dad greatly but he has left me with so many memories I’ll never forget.  Rest In Peace dad and share your voice in heaven. Play that guitar!
