Robert is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanne Gerst; sons, Dan (Tari), Jeffrey (Debbie), Steve (Rhonda), and Barry (Claudia) Gerst; daughter, Krista Gerst; grandchildren, Jonathan, Ashley, Dalton, Fallon, Kendra, Kasey, Alejandro and Thane; great-grandson, Theisen; and brother Jim Gerst.
Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Monday July 20, 2015, at Old North United Methodist Church, 4201 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. Mike Monahan, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Sunday from 12:00PM to 6:00PM at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road and from 10:00AM to service time at the church.
