He worked in housekeeping at the University of Evansville. He loved St. Louis Cardinals baseball and the Green Bay Packers. Bob loved children and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the Hillview Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Head; brother, Randy Head; and sister, Sandy Head.
Bob is survived by his wife of 14 years, Louise Head; daughter, Jamie Ann Baker (Johnie); mother, Hazel Suits (Thomas); sister, Sheila Head; brother, Scott Suits; step-brother, Fred Gunther; step-children, Wayne Joe Vaughn (Heather); Jim Ed Coon (Samantha), Tiffany Brown (Eric); 3 grandchildren; and 9 step-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00AM, Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Karl Crowe, with burial at Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday, July 25, 2012, from 3:00PM until 8:00PM and Thursday, from 10:00AM until service time at the funeral home.
