Robert "Bob" Carl Stock, Jr.

Robert “Bob” Carl Stock, Jr. 75, passed away on September 24, 2022. He was born on September 16, 1947 in Evansville, IN to the late Robert Carl and Dorothy M. (Bauer) Stock, Sr. Bob served in the U.S. Air Force and was a member of local VFW Post 1114. He was a licensed auctioneer, a lifetime beekeeper, and was a kid at heart. Bob retired from the Local 20 as a union member. He enjoyed scuba diving, rugby and demolition derby. Bob had an unforgettable personality. He was preceded in death by his parents, and many aunts and uncles. Bob is survived by his wife of 3 years, Retha "Star" (Edwards) Stock; his children, Shawn O'Nan (Mike), Peggy Shanks (Chase "Chad" Swanson), Joshua Stock (Jessica), Olivia Stock (John Boyd), Ira Stock, Marjorie Stock; his grandchildren, Kylie O'Nan, Andrew O'Nan (Makayla "Which one are you"), Alison Shanks, Addison Swanson, Ella Swanson, Chloe Stock, Caleb Stock, Carly Stock, Mateo Boyd, Laynce Stock, Theia Boyd, Harmony Boyd; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Greyson O'Nan; brothers, James "Jim" Stock and Donald "Don" Stock; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor John Wongler with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and, on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
