He retired from Whirlpool as a fork truck operator and also operated his own farm, where he spent most of his time. Roger was a US Army Veteran and served during Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Cheryl (Miller); son, Troy, (Amy) Meyer of Evansville; daughters, Holly Meyer and Amanda Meyer, both of Evansville; grandchildren, Danielle Meyer, Samatha Meyer, Tyler Dunn, Dalton Meyer, Alexus Dunn, Kyle Meyer, and Morgan Shuck; and, grandchild, Asher Brown.
A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel with entombment to follow. Friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time at Heritage Chapel.
