She was a member of Eastern Star.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie; infant son, Billy; and grandson, Michael.
She is survived by her sons, Paul David and Donald R. Beard; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN.
