Sandra Sue Moorehead Wiseman

Sandra Sue (Moorehead) Wiseman, 63, passed away, Monday, April 2, 2012 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Rockport, IN. She was born in Evansville, IN, July 18, 1948, to the late John and Elsie (Odell) Moorehead.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and wrote poetry. She had 20 poems published by the National Library of Poetry and was nominated as Poet of the Year for 1999 by the President of the International Society of Poets.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jerry Moorehead and a sister, Barbara Hollingsworth, both of Evansville, IN.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Larry Wayne Wiseman of Rockport and two sons, Michael Wiseman of Rockport and Christopher Wiseman of Evansville; nine grandchildren, Makayla, Austin, Aric, Owen, Maggie, Landon, Lani, and Ethan of Rockport and Kaylee Wiseman of Evansville. Also surviving are her sisters, Patricia Kirkman of Ocala, FL, Marjorie Grote of Naples, FL, and Linda (Curran) Wilkinson of Chrisney, IN and a brother-in-law, Charles Hollingsworth of Nashville, TN; along with a cousin Shirley Wingerter of Evansville; nieces and nephews.

Services will be held, 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Larry Vancamp with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit, Wednesday from 2:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
