She gave her life to Christ in 1998 at Faith Apostolic Church in Ashland City, TN and received the Holy Ghost shorty after. She had worked as a seamstress for Anchor, Carhert and Shanes.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Cicel Whitmer; mother, Addeline Higgs (Eakins); and step-father, Raymond Higgs.
She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Tramill; sons, Richard Tramill and Kenneth Bernard; grandchildren, Ariel Tramill, James Mockobee, Meagen Tramill, Nisha Tramill, Richard Scott Tramill, Jr., Diera Herron, Lauren Bernard and Sarah Bernard; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Tula Higgs and Trellis Tolley.
Memorial services were 2:00 PM Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Olivet Presbyterian Church, officiated by Pastor Dave Mills. Entombment was held in Alexander Memorial Park.
