She was a Special Education teacher for the EVSC for many years and served as ETA president. Sherry loved to fish and was a member of the Ladies Bass Angler Association. She received her bachelor’s degree from MacMurray College, where she was very close to her fellow students and attended many class reunions. Sherry went on to receive her master’s degree from the University of Evansville.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father, Reno DeMuth.
She is survived by her mother, Florence DeMuth; sons, Kenan Lochmueller and Evan Lochmueller; and sisters, Pam Schultz (Mike) and Allison Niemeier (Tony).
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Alexander North Chapel. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
