She was a member of East Side Christian Church and was the office manager at Tri-State Orthopedics for 22 years.
Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband, L.W. Elliott; second husband, Charles Dyson; and brother J.D. Greer.
She is survived by her daughter, Linnie Moore and husband, John; sons, Robert Elliott, John Elliott and wife, Denise, Bill Elliott and wife, Mary; Grandchildren, Joey and Aaron Elliott, Elizabeth Coulter, Patrick Moore, Noelle Moore, Michael Wood, Benjamin Wood, Amy Faulkner; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Maxine Hartz; many nieces and nephews including Sherri Phillips of Evansville, Indiana.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN with entombment at Oak Hill Cemetery, officiated by Dr. Linda Parker. Friends may visit on Friday from 3:30 till 6:30 PM and Saturday from 10:00 until service time.
