

He was one of the founding members of the modern Evansville Bar Association Lawyers Assistance Program, serving as vice-chair since its founding. He was the leader on behalf of the EBA and the State JLAP Committee to get the Indiana Supreme Court to Amend the Indiana Rules for Admission to the Bar to include the Surrogate Attorney Rule. He has been a State JLAP volunteer since 1998, was a Committee Member from 1998-2004, the Committee Treasurer from 2001-2003 and the Committee Chair in 2004. Tim was honored with the Doran Perdue Service Award in 2003 and received the James S. Stanton Award in 2009. He has helped countless individual attorneys over the years, both in the practice of law and in addressing and overcoming addictions.
Tim was a member of the Evansville Azalea Committee and St. Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing golf, gardening, riding motorcycles and reading about Civil Wars. He also liked to travel and enjoyed sports.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jaya (Choe) Dodd; son, Christopher Lee Dodd; brother, Robert Dodd; sisters, Sarah Pace and Kate Largent; grandchildren, Hiram Joseph Dodd, Maile Nicole Dodd and Izabella Olivia Dodd; two nieces; and seven nephews.
Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 13, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 613 Cherry Street, officiated by Fr. Steve Lintzenich, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue.
