She was a homemaker and loved being a wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking and baking. In her later years she taught herself how to paint in water colors and she loved to read James Patterson books.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, of 64 years, Charles Blakeman; and her parents, Alfred and Doris Unthank.
She is survived by her daughters, Patti Blakeman, Judy McCarthy, and Wendy Besser; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Virginia will be laid to rest in Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. No funeral services will be held.
