Virginia M. Edwards

Virginia graduated from Reitz High School. She and her family enjoyed being together and were very active in the Evansville Water Ski Club. Virginia moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas in the mid 1970’s where she then lived for 42 years. She was a member of Woodlands Church and Order of the Eastern Star. Virginia was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts, and canning when her husband began gardening. Above everything else, her family was most important to her.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Albert J. Edwards, in 2014.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Brenda Kuehn (Steve); sons, Gary Edwards (Connie), Joe Edwards; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.

A Funeral Service was held 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends visited on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, where a Eastern Star Service will be held at 7:00 PM, and on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
