Virginia faithfully sent cards to many people and viewed this as a ministry.
She was a longtime member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church, joining in 1951. Virginia truly enjoyed being a part of her Sunday School Class.
She was a homemaker and her family was very important to her, she cared for them and gave advice to many.
Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Michael Wayne Muncy; five sisters; three brothers; and her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald L. Muncy; daughter-in-law, Sharon N. Muncy of West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Dr. James Frazier with burial at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Friends may visit Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
