Wanda Mae O'Bryan

Wanda Mae (Lemmons) O’Bryan, 84, of Evansville, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. She was born on Tuesday, June 11, 1935 in Evansville, to Walter and Hazel (Woods) Lemmons. She worked as a bookkeeper for General Electric and Deaconess Hospital. Wanda then took time off to raise her five daughters. She then worked as a bookkeeper for Elpers Motor Company, Tudela Family Businesses, Don’s Services, and HR Solutions, Inc. Wanda’s greatest passion in life was spending time with her family, including staying at the family lake house on Barkley Lake. She also enjoyed camping. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, J. Donald; two granddaughters, Brittany and Heather Hubiak, and sister, Norma Willis. She is survived by her daughters, Teri Opell (Dan), Vicki Hubiak (William), Kim Howard (Tom), Lisa Loehrlein (Keith), and Stacey Tudela (Fernando); grandchildren, Lynsey Opell, Aaron Opell (Emily), Nicholas Hubiak (Jamie), Scott Hubiak (Katie), Shawn Gourley (Justin), Chris Howard (Sarah), Erik Howard (Rosalba Mendoza), Nichole Clark (Jack), Michael Loehrlein (Jessica Yates), Andrew Loehrlein (Sasha), Jeremy Tudela, Joshua Tudela (Kali), Jacob Tudela (Chelsea), and Jacquelyn Tudela; and 27 great-grandchildren plus two on the way. The family would like to thank the healthcare providers at Primrose Independent Living, Deaconess Gateway Hospital, and Linda E. White Hospice House for their loving care. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Alexander East Chapel with Pastor David Schwambach officiating and will be laid to rest in her family mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The family prefers that visitors wear face masks.
