Wayne Murray

Wayne Murray, 76, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Linda White Hospice Center. He was born December, 11, 1940, in Evansville, Indiana to the late William and Vivian Murray. Wayne was employed at Alcoa for many years. He enjoyed playing golf and also participating in bowling leagues with his co-workers from Alcoa. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry W Murray; brothers, William D, Wilburn Ray, Kenneth and Douglas Murray; sisters, Margaret “Maggie” Montgomery, and Faye Davis. Wayne is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janet Ann (Cissna) Murray; son, Brian Scott Murray (Sara); daughter, Julie Ann Cassin; Grandchildren; Andrew and Kyle Murray, Brandon Cassin, Kelsey Cassin, and Hailey Mae Cassin; and Great grandson, Wyatt Murray. Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Terry Gamblin and Rev. David Murray. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home. Committal service, followed by burial, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel.
