Wilburn had fond memories of growing up in Nortonville, KY. He loved music, especially old church hymns and country music. Wilburn was a Christian. He loved his Easterseals family who cared for him for 35 years.
Wilburn was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street in Evansville. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday. Wilburn will be laid to rest in New Salem Cemetery in Nortonville, KY.
