William Lowell Tison

Lowell retired from Bristol Myers after 35 years as a machinist. He attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Lowell enjoyed singing with his wife and has written over 200 poems and songs. He has traveled with Campers on Missions and worked with SWARM in Bryson, NC. Lowell lived in Leesburg,

FL for 17 years before moving back to the Evansville area, also he had been a Scout Leader for Troop 371.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Earlene (Johnson) Tison; and son, David Tison.

Lowell is survived by his daughters, Kay (Chuck) Newton and Janet (Glen) Prine; son, Marty Tison; grandchildren, Matthew (Julie), John (Caryn), and Tim (Stephani) Newton, Tonya Bulau, Jenny (Mark) Emelander, Betty (Anthony) Wright, and Jason (Heather) Tison; fifteen great grandchildren, and sixteen great great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Alexander Memorial Park, Heritage Chapel, 2200 Mesker Park Drive, officiated by Pastor Glen Prine, with burial to follow. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the chapel.
