Wilma Ray Madison

Wilma Ray Madison, 89, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019. She was born on February 16, 1930 in Dawson Springs, Kentucky to Ermond and Zelpha (Barnes) Jones. She retired from Prairie Farms and had also worked for American Dairy and Ideal American Dairy. Wilma was a member and treasurer at Vann Avenue Baptist for many years. She enjoyed traveling with the Keenager Group and had visited 48 states, Mexico, and Canada. Wilma enjoyed gardening, dogs, and birdwatching, especially hummingbirds and yellow finches. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Louise; and brothers, Charles and Bobby. She is survived by her sons, Terry Madison (Anita), Duane Madison, and Carl Madison; daughters, Lisa Watkins (Mike) and Lynette Murray (Mark); grandchildren, April Wason (Adam) and Melanie Ayers (Scott); 5 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel with Pastor Robert Schneider officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
