

Catherine Alexina Reedy, born on October 7, 1915 to Amelia (LaBrosse) and Francis Reedy in Bonners Ferry, ID. She passed away on April 14, 2012 in Everett, WA. In the 1920's Catherine and her younger sisters, Pearl (Anderson) and Ruth (Kirkland) moved with their parents to Everett, WA. Catherine attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School and graduated from Everett High School in 1934. After high school she worked as a salesgirl in a department store and also worked part-time as a receptionist at a doctor's office.
In 1937, Catherine married her fiancee, Robert H. Wade. She was a devoted mother to her three children, Richard, Brian and Susan. She maintained a close relationship with her parents and sisters. In the 1950's Catherine received a practical nursing certificate from Everett Junior College. She worked for a few years as a PN at Everett General Hospital. Later she worked for 25 years at Scott Paper Company and retired at age 65. Catherine will be remembered by her love of family and friends. She had great appreciation for the excellent care she received from Bethany at Pacific. She is survived by her three children, Richard F. Wade (Janyce) of Lake Stevens, WA, Brian H. Wade of Seattle, WA and Susan M. Wade of Everett; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
