Born in Everett, this area was home for most of his life. He was a proud graduate of Everett High School chairing what became annual reunions for obvious reasons. And, while he was a Cougar, he cheered for the Huskies when they played any other team. He also loved to cook for or fish with family and friends.
Jim served his church in a variety of capacities from altar boy to vestryman and his country as a Navy Seabee in the Pacific during WWll.
His work ethic was established at age 7 when he arrived first to sell the morning papers on the corner of Colby and California. As an adult, Jim was a plumber before working for University Mechanical Contractors and its partners in Seattle, Prudhoe Bay and the Tri-Cities until retirement.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Jeannette Harrison Pearson; daughters, Terri and Shelley Pearson; son and his wife, Scott and Judy Bryant Pearson; grandchildren, Jeff and Anne Pearson; and great grandchildren, Calvin and Marina Pearson as well as by his sisters, Mary Wheeler and June Gerken.
Jim’s funeral service is scheduled for 2:30 PM on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 2301 Hoyt in Everett, WA.
