Margie was born November 27,1929 to missionary parents Rev. Rolland & Melba (Smith) Davis in Nagpur, India. Following the sudden death of her mother, her family returned to the United States in 1937, and settled in Herman, CA. She graduated from Los Angeles Pacific High School, attended Seattle Pacific College, and lived in the Everett area since 1950.
Margie was a lifelong member of the Free Methodist Church, an avid gardener, and sports fanatic. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family, attending her grandchildren's school and sporting events, writing and sending thank you notes, birthday cards, notes of encouragement and calling to check up on friends and family. She was a woman of great faith, gracious and giving, devoted to prayer and service to others. Her love for her family and friends ran deep and she welcomed all to her home where her door was always open.
Margie is survived by four children: Terrie (Tracy) Gill, Becci (Rob) Willoughby, Sandy (Russ) Nordquist, and Robert (Loralei) Legg II; eleven grandchildren: Alyssa (Chad), Emily (Daniel), Stephanie (Nick), Laura, Ericka (Andy), Sonia, Suzanne, Ryan, Liz, Zach, and Cara; three great-grandchildren: Amelia, Isabella, and Wyatt; sister, Lyn (Jack) Walls; children's father, Robert Legg, Sr.; and numerous nieces, nephews and special cousins.
Margie is preceded in death by her parents, special mom Muriel Davis, brother, Burton Davis, “sister-in-love” Cile Davis, and “In-laws” John & Gertrude Legg.
