Dear Alta,
I am so sorry to learn of Dick's passing.  You were so blessed to have 75 years together.  I have great memories of a weekend camping trip near a Soundview camp -- and other social events while working at Soundview.  Also, I remember Dick and Dale often shared rides when they were students  at the University of Washington in 1948/49.  My deepest sympathy to you and your family.    

Celebration for a long life, well lived.  Remembering back to Forest Service days when Dick was a frequent visitor, both at Darrington and Marblemount, and how gratified he was when the Skagit River Bridge at Rockport replaced the ferry.  Made life so much simpler!

Very sorry to hear of Dick's passing.  He and Alta are friends from many years ago who we greatly enjoyed and valued.
