Tonya Toni Jean Martin McAmis

Tonya Jean McAmis 67 of Everett WA. entered the gates of heaven September 3,2011. Tonya (Toni) was born November 14th 1944. She was raised by her parents Elby and Jean Martin along with her brother Warren and sister Sandra in Kansas.

Toni graduated from Augusta Kansas High School in 1962. Toni married Larry McAmis August 3rd 1963 in Mississippi. They lived in Slidell Louisiana close to her parents, brother and sister.

In 1968 Larry, Toni, her parents, Warren and Sandra moved to Marysville WA following work at Boeing. Toni and Larry had two daughters Brenda born in 1969 and Lisa born in 1971. The family enjoyed camping, watersking in Chelan, and numbers trips to the San Juans.

Toni worked for Pacific Grinding Wheel and later the phone company where she retired after 24 years of service.

Larry and Toni took numerous trips to Sturgis on their motorcycles and toured though Arizona camping and riding. Toni enjoyed watching rodeo's with her family and friends. Toni and Larry renewed their wedding vows in 2010 and in 2011 celebrated 48 years of marriage. They enjoyed many wonderful adventures together, still best of friends.

Tonya leaves behind her husband Larry McAmis, daughters Brenda (Juston) Leighty, Lisa McAmis, her parents Elby and Jean Martin, her brother Warren (Linda) Martin, her sister Sandra (Bryan, Kayleigh) Johnson, Nephew Bryan (Jennifer, Erika, Brenden) Martin and many close friends.
