Vera Eleanor Pells

Vera Eleanor Pells, born August 2, 1914 in Bellingham, WA, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2012 in Everett, WA. She was active as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 60 years in Everett, including 7 years of volunteer work in SE Nebraska with her husband, Herbert. Many, many long term, enduring friendships with Herb and Vera were formed over these years, bringing great joy to their lives. Vera was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed baking and cooking for others, such as Swedish meatballs and apple pie, which were enjoyed by many nieces, nephews, and multiple friends. Vera is survived by her children, Patricia Goerlich (John), twins James Pells (Susan) and Janet Angeloff, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert K. Pells in 1993, and brothers Gustaf and William Gissberg. A celebration of Vera’s life will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 4pm at the North Everett Kingdom Hall, 2530 Harrison Ave., Everett, WA.
