On February 20, 1954 he married his beloved Maria Judith Colón. They were soon blessed with two children, Marixsa (Ignacio) Lopez and Anthony (Janet). In 1961, he was baptized as a Jehovah Witness and together with his wife and children he dedicated his life to serving and teaching others about Jehovah.
He was cherished by many who affectionally also called him abuelo or simply Colón. He was a dear uncle to many including Norma, Evelyn, Ivette, Elizabeth, Octavio and Albert who will miss him dearly. He was especially loved by his 7 grandchildren, Jennifer(Pierre), Sarai(Carlos)Ramos, Josue(Tanya),
Anthony(Irina), Naomi, Marcos (Jackie), and David. But perhaps his greatest joy came from his great grandchildren, Lauryn, Cristian, Jaylen, Aaron, Amaya, Layla, Malaya, Olivia, Ellie, Donovan, Celine, Ethan, and Marley. This was evident by the smile on his face whenever they were talked about or he was around them.
On January 20, 2021, Luis Antonio Colón passed away, but will live forever in the memories and hearts of all those who loved him.
