Yesterday when I seen you laying there peacefully I literally wanted to choke you because this wasn't your time. Emily is really missing her butler. You would always tell me I was your favorite sister in law. Making cabbage rolls isn't going to be the same, those were your favorite. No more knocking on my door at 7 in the morning. You will always be my favorite brother in law.

Dave was a good guy. He was funny. He always would say one day he would come to church with me. Rest easy. Sending prayers and condolences to my sister and nephew.

Man Uncle Dooly. This is heartbreaking but I will always cherish every moment we had together. You were the absolute best uncle in the world. You taught me the love for real music. You made me laugh harder then anyone. I remember cooking chicken wings with you on the grill all the time at my dads with your special sauce. You gave me the weirdest nickname on the plant being chickalini. Don’t know where you came up with that but I loved it and will never forget it. You were always there for a good talk and extremely intelligent. You were actually chosen to be on jeapordy haha. You will be forever missed and loved. Rest easy Uncle Dooly I love you.

The 1st time I met you, you thought we were stalkers. We decided to go to McDonald's & you just happened to be walking in front of us. Later did we realize you worked at the school across the street from our house. That's when you decided to sweep Liz off her feet....the beginning of a long relationship. Many ups & downs but all in all you were a sweet, funny & caring person. You became a family man, accepting Cindy as your own & soon after Brandon came along. With this being said, you can rest now. All your troubles & sorrows are over. Whatever demons you may have had, you can let go now. Be at peace. I'm going to miss the food fights. RIP, brother. From The Holmes Family

Losing a loved one is not a easy situation to experience. This is a reminder to cherish every moment because each moment spent with your loved one is a memory. I have so many positive memories, one being when I was younger you would always go outside with me and throw the baseball and football. Another being, my nickname being boobie haha, not sure I liked that nickname but right now, it'd be nice to hear it one last time, I love you dad.
