Collinsworth, Billy Ray, 86, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by loved ones. He is preceded in death by his devoted wife Fern Collinsworth, his parents Elmer and Irene (Fugate) Collinsworth and a son David Collinsworth. Survived by his daughter Debbie Hitte (Gene Clarke); brother Russell (Billie Jean) Collinsworth; sister Donna Vance; grandchildren Kara (Mel) Parker, Cory (Lauren) Hitte, Kacey Collinsworth, Chris (Taylor) Hitte; great-grandchildren Lincoln, Brooks, Memphis and Wesley. He was a member of the Victory Temple in Fairborn. He retired from the Miami Valley Publishing Company. Billy Ray loved to attend University of Kentucky basketball games. He also enjoyed fishing, sports of all kinds, Sunday drives, scratch off lottery tickets and had a special love for Joe’s Pizza. He was proud of his home heritage from West Liberty, Kentucky. His favorite past time was spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Burcham-Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, Ohio. Pastor Derek Trenum officiating. Interment Byron Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 AM Saturday. Social distancing and masks required. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in his loving memory.
