Hershell Billy Eldridge

ELDRIDGE, HERSHELL BILLY, age 84 of Fairborn, formerly of Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday July 26, 2023 at his residence. He was born on May 16, 1939 in West Liberty, KY to the late Joe and Marie (Ball) Eldridge.

Hershell worked in the medical field, for a company that made parts for surgical replacements, like hip, knee and other areas. He once said that if you have something in you that is replaced, I probably made it!

He is preceded in death by his sister, Loraine Justice, his brothers Andrew, Charles and Robert, his niece Anna Eldridge and nephews Robert Eldridge, Mike Kilgore and Patrick Cooney.

He is survived by his sister, Judy Dagman and his life long friend and brother in law Harless Justice. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews Shari (Michael) Little, Keith (Nancy) Justice, Lisa (Mark) Boger, Kathy (Harry) Smith, Cindy Eldridge, Teresa Cross, Andrew (Corena) Eldridge, Joe Eldridge and Marie Walker.

The family will receive friends on Thursday August 3, 2023 from 11am to 1pm at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St., Fairborn, Ohio. A Memorial Service will follow at 1pm, with Dr. Stuart M. Snow officiating. Burial will be at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn.
