Lizzie Thompson

Lizzie Thompson, 82 of Fairborn passed away Sunday June 2, 2013 at the Hospice of Dayton. Lizzie was born in Wolf Coal, KY on October 14th, 1930 to Sam and Rutha (Raleigh) Herald. Lizzie is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Garfield Thompson, daughter Mary Simpson, son in law Bob Simpson, son Clyde Thompson, sister Melinda Eldridge, sister Christina Williams, sister Helen Adkins, and brother Wilgus Herald. Lizzie is survived by her daughter Judy (Danny) Miller, sister’s Sara Brown of Florida, Carrie Pettit of Florida, Brother Vaughan Herald of Kentucky, grandchildren James (Sherry) Adamson, Matthew (Sara)Adamson, Jenni Rodriguez (Shawn Whitfield) , Melissa Simpson, Kathy Simpson, Heather (Joe) Saloom, Stephen Thompson, Darren Miller, and Don (Sherry)Miller, great grandchildren Daniel, Payge, Keller, Aiden, Brandon, Andrew, Nicholas, Jonathan, Ciara, Gracie, Julia, Cole, Makenna, and one great great grandchild Braylin. Lizzie was a loving mother and grandmother she will be missed by all those who love her. Friends may call at the Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E Main St. Fairborn Ohio 45324 on Tuesday June 4, 2013 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday June 5, 2013 at 12PM interment will follow at Byron Cemetery, with Pastor Vernon Hurles officiating.
