Patty is preceded in death by her husband, Bobbie L. Carpenter; her parents Thomas and Sylvia Kendrick; and brothers Thomas and Bobby Kendrick.
Patty is survived by her three sons; Robert (Fran) Carpenter, Rod (Beth) Carpenter, and Mike (Evelyn) Carpenter. She is also survived by her sister Carol (Delbert) Hall; seven grandchildren; Natalie, Rob, Casey, Marissa, Holly, Jonathan, and Krista; seventeen great grandchildren; her very close friend, Mary Herdman; and numerous other dearly loved family members and friends.
Patty had been known as head “toy lady” while working at Goldman’s in Huber Heights before it closed. She had even gotten her own statue award from the company to commemorate the hard work and enthusiasm she had for her role there.
A visitation for Patty will be held at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home on Thursday July 25 from 11 A.M. to 12 P.M. with a funeral service at 12 P.M. After the service, there will be a procession to her final resting place at Byron Cemetery in Fairborn, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SICSA or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
