Edward Lee McFall

Edward Lee McFall, 74, of Fairdale passed away on June 11, 2021. He was born in Louisville on February 18, 1947 to the late Wilbur and Lydia McFall. Edward graduated from the Kentucky School for the Deaf in 1967. He was a mechanic and retired from Yellow Cab after 38 years of service. He was an avid Duke fan and he enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars. He was a big family man; a loving and devoted father and papaw and he would bend over backwards to help anyone. In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his spouse, Mary Stevens; a sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Donald McMillen; and a nephew, Daniel McMillen. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Sandra (Brian) Beebe, Julia McFall (Joshua Hallett), Michelle (Jason) Perkins, Betsie (Michael) Sutter and Isabelle (Toby) Collins; 24 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Steven (Deborah) McFall, Sr. and Walter (Mary) McFall. The family will accept guests for visitation from 2:00 pm-8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home (411 Fairdale Road). A service to celebrate his life will take place at the funeral home at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 with burial to follow in Mount Holly Cemetery in Fairdale.
