Esther Virginia Tucker, 87, of Fairdale, passed away January 4, 2014. She was a member of New Cut Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlin Ray Tucker. Survivors include daughters, Deritta Lanham(Dennis), Nancye Witten(Tom), Martha Waddell(Steve), and Beverly Davis(Steve); 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; brothers, Millard Bradway(Demetra) and James Bowman; and sister, Louise Whitlow. Funeral service will be 12 noon Wednesday at Fairdale-McDaniel Funeral Home with interment in Mt. Holly Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Tuesday and 10am-noon Wednesday.
